As of a few nights ago, my Tieria muse and Shu's Neil's muse are officially married, having been married by the esteemed Oriya Mibu, a friend of Tieria's.    So yes, he is now officially known as Tieria Dylandy (since he doesn't believe in the hyphenating of the names and wanted to take Neil's name completely.)    Tieria now has a Lockon of his very own as his husbando!  HURRAH!

Klaus is very much tsundere.. but unlike alot of tsunderes, he has a standard issue gun (or twenty.) <-- really I'm quite sure he has a fucking armory to himself*    Whenever the person he loves says something about him and/or to him, CLICK goes the trusty old gun.  

Guns don't shoot people, tsunderes do.

I thought he was going to live forever, surely he was next in line to become the crypt-keeper from tales of the crypt.. or at the very least a zombie.

It's pretty hard to believe that he's dead in all seriousness.

After ordering the next couple of volumes of "From Eroica with Love" on sunday. (okay not just the next couple but ALL), I went outside to get some food for work tonight, and what was there but an Amazon box.   Granted I thought it was Jennie's so I was prepared to take it in to her when then I read my name, "Nia Westphal" on it. 

I kid you not, I ripped into that box faster then light.  

Lo and behold.  volumes 3 - 5 of EROICA.   Another dose of fabulous for me!   Oh this warms the cockles of my heart!

Let us see how Eroica manages to piss off the Major in THESE volumes!  Har har har.

Episode 37 of Rose of Versailles...

I'm not going to stop watching the series there (god no!), but for just a little while I want to rest in the bubble that is all of my dreams coming true  before I conclude the series, you know.. letting it sink in for a little while.   I just didn't have the heart to watch episode 38 up and to 40.   It leaves one with an unbearable little ache because I know how it ends, after all 1.) it's seventies historical shoujo (which never ends well) and 2.) it's the french revolution on top of that.

But it's still a beautiful series and just a single episode made the entire series worth it for me. (Yes, this has everything to do with Oscar/Andre which is my OTP for the series)

I'm tired and I stayed up as long as I could.  It's bedtime for me now.

Okay everyone.  I'm mainly addressing this post to my f-list here on LJ since I realize that we aren't all that close and I realize that I don't even KNOW alot of you.  There are some names that I know, and people who comment who I actually have things I associate with them because they have commented and we've had that repartee back and forth.

But there are alot of you out there that I DO NOT KNOW.

First of all I am saying that if you are reading this entry and you are going, "Who the hell is Hyujin and what the hell is she saying".  Well I just wanted to say that if you just randomly decided to delete me, then go right ahead.  No hard feelings.  Even if you do know me and you feel like we have nothing in common, then delete me as well.   No hard feelings once again reiterated.

But if I don't know you and you do want to stay around, give me some facts about you.   I want to know about YOU!  Do you have a particularly favorite rare pairing, what is your favorite band?  Well really whatever you want to give me.  Just give me a little glimmer as to WHO YOU ARE, give me something to associate you with, perhaps we can get some conversations going and figure each other out.  Who knows!

And I'll start it out a little bit.

• My name is Nia or Jyuu.  Most people call me Jyuu.. just some nickname that I've appended myself with over something that I've RPed with my best friend, involving Shunsui and Ukitake.  (Jyuukoi is the net nickname I go by).  I've also been known as Hyu.. but that's just really old and I don't feel like it precisely fits me anymore.)
• I work at a company that is notorious around the US (I don't really want to say the W name because you can get into a lot of trouble over blogs, not like I've ever had a expirience that was even similar to all of those horror stories I've heard)
• I have a cat named Lala that I rescued.  I love her to death, I can be completely assured that she is the cat made solely for me... she's curled up on my lap right now and purring like crazy.
• I live in the Frozen North, the last exit just before Canada. (though not for long)
• I have a 'guys with one eye fucked up' fetish.   Neil Dylandy, Sigurd Harcourt, Leo Vaida and Andre Grandier.  Bonus points if they wear an eyepatch, though in Andre's case, his lock of hair over one eye will suffice.
• I am an older anime/manga fan, though I still feel perfectly young..  there are certain things that will just always keep one young at heart.
• My first video game crush was Setzer Gabbiani from FFVI.  Followed by Magus Zeal from ChronoTrigger.
• Currrent interests are Take That and old school 70's manga (Rose of Versailles, From Eroica with Love and Black Jack.)
• I HAVE JUST RUN OUT OF THINGS TO SAY, WOE IS ME!

I'm on the latter series right now.  (still have to completely finish RoV but I only have a few more episodes to go until I reach the end).   I really like the two main characters and I definitely like them TOGETHER.   I always have favorite characters, I always tend to really really like the stoic ones.  And Klaus is definitely a stoic.  I left the books on Jennie's desk hoping that she'll read them.  Aww the brilliance and the best thing is that there are 14 + volumes of them translated so far.   

I <3 70's Shoujo.. especially seventies shoujo with HOMOEROTIC CONTENT!

I'm also feeling better now.  Aside from the headache, well you can't win them all.  I'll be catching up with friend's list sometime tomorrow, promise.

I will seldom talk about my feelings on this journal. Why, you must ask? Because a single post cannot successfully convey the extent of my feelings which are usually powerful and sometimes even destructive in nature. My emotions are succiently scorpio (due to my rising sign), I feel things to the extremes and usually I feel them at the same time, I am all of those feelings that you don't want to admit that you have but still just linger there underneath the surface and are ready to rear their ugly head.

Also feelings have gotten me into trouble several times, it's better overall for me to pretend that they do not exist, because I'm a virgo and analytical by nature, it's easy for me to treat them as if I was merely viewing them underneath some clinical microscope lens. I grow detached from them if they give an excess of problems, I usually also stick them under glass cases for future observing. Yes it hurts many people, but it's a survival technique that I've learned and I've never been in situation where I haven't needed that in order to a.) stay sane and b.) pick up the pieces in the event of a deep and gashing fissure.

Death is and never will be an option for me, I've survived too much in my life to even countenance the thought of myself taking my own life, however sometimes I get these rouge thoughts that are eerily similar to any statement of "I'm going to kill myself" but they come in innocuous little remarks like "If I could just fall asleep and never wake up, wouldn't that be nice?". Once again I'd never kill myself, I think it's the fool and the coward way out.

I don't know what else I'm going to say honestly.

So anyways, sorry for not updating. I've been expirincing what ones call "Real-Life-itis" which roughly is when you come down with a disease that seems to eat away all your real time, that is house showings and work related thing-a-mabobs that just suck onto you and won't let you go NO MATTER WHAT. I've been setting up the new store, setting mods and stocking shelves, hey I've even been put in a position of leadership. Go me!

I was called into the office this morning, by Jeannie and Dana. They basically told me that they were pleasantly surprised that I rose to the occasion with how well I've handled the many new people that have come in and managed to get them working in an effective and smooth manner. That was after I managed to get my group to get 5 pallets of freight done in a half an hour due to my ability to organize freight into groups. Really, I'm extremely proud of this feat, I think that today I did my best work ever. It all got handled effectively and I pretty much outshone the other foods lead, Gloria. But honestly, I'm of the opinion that you catch more flies with honey then you do vinegar. Dana also told me that she thought that because of my charisma and my skills, I would make an excellent support manager one day.

That pretty much made my day.

So I'm on a special little high that just won't go away, really just pinging completely and totally. But man, I'm tired. I'm gonna sleep forever, I just know it.

It was funny though when I was drifting off to sleep early this morning a certain song came on my ipod called "In Our Bedroom After the War" and I was just struck with divine inspiration for a fic for Rose of Versailles though I'm going to watch it to the end before I even begin to write the fic, but there were certain lines just struck me and I think it's very much fitting of the entire series.

I've fallen in love with this series, really I have. Ah, Oscar/Andre.. how you fire my heart.

Now if only I could actually kick out some RoV icons damn it.

Also, Take That's new single is out, "Said it All" plus a song SUNG BY MARKIE entitled "Throwing Stones" which I want, but sadly I need to live in britian in order to order it on itunes :Shakes fist: Damn you, Itunes, damn you.

I have this feeling that Oscar and Andre are going to end up making me very sad, very much like how it got to the point where Princess was so depressing for Leo and Eshild that I just wanted to avert my eyes. In all honesty, I'm pretty sure I've just hit the downward spiral and I just know that it isn't going to get any better.

I can't really say anymore because I'm saving it all for the review after I finish watching this series, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be lengthy.

Really, it's not to say that I'm not enjoying this series, it's incredibly good which is really fueling my overwhelming love for the old school stuff, you know.. the anime and manga that EVERYONE should watch and/or read.

13 more episodes to go. I can't believe that I got that far in a weekend, I really can't. But when something engages me like that, it's really hard for me to stop and I just grow obsessive with it until I finish it. I can list a whole lot of series that were exactly like that, that captured the core of my obsession. Rose of Versailles I think can be listed among those series.

And Andre, yeah.. he's a hottie. Just because I'm a lesbian doesn't mean I can't appreciate the animated man-flesh (drawn so perfectly) or Take That for that matter.

As far as Rose of Versailles go, I am now an official Oscar/Andre fan. Especially when Andre was like "Oscar, you may seem made of ice, but you have a heart of burning fire" and then he added on "And that's the part of you that I love". And I swear my heart just melted completely in regards to that. But that being said, my mind on the pairings have been made up, I am an Oscar/Andre fangirl just because it's just entirely too sweet for words (and I have a feeling that the end is going to make me cry in that regards, I mean it's an anime about the french revolution.. of course it's gonna make me cry, because we all know how that ends.)

I have officially decided that the whole seme and uke cliche is only amusing and/or fitting when applied to Oscar/Andre.. and not as a theoretical concept.

I have watched the first two episodes of RoV (sorry about not responding back to alot of comments, however when I woke up from my nap tonight.. I was just really groggy and couldn't form coherant sentances. However, watching this series makes me realize that I really do like strong females. I mean girls that just deliever a whole lot of asskicking and wield the whole "I can do things just as good as a man!". This being brought up because I really really love Oscar.

I am not sure about Marie-Antoinette though, I am more inclined toward Oscar/Andre because that scene in the first episode where Oscar and Andre are just gong to fisticuffs really made me go 'awww how cute, they must love each other'. <-- that is because I have a screwed up sense of heterosexual romance. This may very well be though because I'm a lesbian and I demand that my women are strong.

It is decided. I have been stewing over what anime to watch after finishing Princess Tutu while the animu isn't written on my list, it is something that I do want to tackle since I'm on a classical kick myself. I am going to embark on Rose of Versailles the 70s shoujo classic which was the inspiration for Utena to come into existance.

I mean, being that I'm on a classic 70s manga and animu kick and all.

The first AMV I ever watched. - For all of you that have not seen it, it is a truly masterful amv and probably will always remain one of my favorite amvs ever. I mean, combine Mindless Self Indulgence with Pokemon and you get WIN! every time.

Another favorite AMV - This is when you combine Card Captor Sakura's Touya Kinomoto and Mindless Self Indulgence. It's made of almost equal win. (Can you tell that I like this song?). This amv artist also did an equally good Yukito/Touya amv that is fairly strong. I'm very hard on AMVs and so it's very rare when I see one that is really awesome, but when I do, it gets immediately favorited. (damn AMVs aren't what they used to be)

When it comes down to it, I am very hard on fan made videos. It's just how I am.

Every muscle in my body aches from work last night.  I got called in two hours early.   What was I doing?  Cleaning the new store.  OH BOY, it's a far cry from the old store, it's at least 3 times bigger and there are so. many. coolers.   Yes that's what I was doing, cleaning, however also.  The new store's softlines is smaller, infinitely smaller.  I was amazed at how small the women's section is.  I did hear that when a store goes super center, all areas sort of downsize.    Maybe it looked small though  because there were no clothing hanging on the rack.  All shelves were empty, which means that when everyone comes in for stocking, it's going to be amazing seeing how the store fills.  This also means that I will be seeing something come from nothing which will be an awesome thing I think.

Cindy was just as intolerable as usual.  Basically since I was the only listening ear there, she bitched and moaned about how bad life was and gave me a lecture on how I wasn't a real women because I didn't want children.  Bitch, please.    Unlike some people I do not have to verify my life by how many small beings I can pop out of my cooter (I can't believe I just said that.. :smacks head:).   But anyways, there was also a small scufffle about my real name which she heard Jeannie call me by, and then I took her aside and went, "If you are not a.) my parents or b.) my boss, then I strongly suggest you do not call me ______."  and then came the response, "well I thought that was the one that you preferred" and I was like "No.. everyone in the store calls me by my preferred name, and since you are neither my parents or the one directly above me, then it is good enough for you to use."  and then I walked out.  

Woot for power of intimidation, and mark my ways she was intimidated.  Well I'm not going to let Cindy shove me around and think that she can say anything to me, that's not my style.   Not with people that I don't like.   Generally with people that I like, I'm too much of a pushover, but people I don't like.. they get no quarter from me.    

And whatever, if I'm less of a woman because I choose not to propagate the earth, well then so be it.. if that is a woman's only role in life, then I thoroughly reject it.  People like Cindy can bite me.
